The place depicted in the photograph is just 50m away from the Lord Murugan Temple, we just have to cross the cave like structures that are automatically/naturally built by the rocks & the fallen/live trees.
This place is in between lush greenery, and the people & the students come generally to have picnic here. Here also happens the phenomenon of echo, you shout a name or anything, it will be heard back! After reaching on the top of any of these mountains you can see the whole Vellore from there.
A highly recommended place for anyone to visit, best time to visit is winter. The place is especially not good to visit during a rainfall, rocks will be slippery & the danger of reptiles is always there. Over all, one of the best natural place to visit near vellore!
