Snowfall at Ranikhet

When it snows here, its simply awesome here! The beautiful hill station of Ranikhet, is receiving the snowfalls biannually, and that is during the month of February. Last was this year, and the photo above was of 2009 snowfall. Although this was an unexpected event to the locals even, but they too enjoyed it. And to the tourists it was the best they can get of here.
The scene is photographed, near SBI Branch building of Ranikhet, which is near the telephone exchange just below the Nar Singh Stadium.
For the school kids of Army School Ranikhet & Central School or Ranikhet, it was a memorable moment, because, it was the day of their last practical exams that time, so the enjoyed to the fullest over this scene.
