Mahabalipuram, also known as Mamallapuram is a town in Kancheepuram
district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is around 60 km south
from the city of Chennai.
After visiting the cool beach here, people prefer to visit this place, the place around the Light House, in addition to this structure, has Krishna's(Kanha's) Butter Ball, & several Mandapam.
From here you can see the beautiful extents of Mahabalipuram.You are even allowed to climb the light house, for that you have to pay Rs. 20 For Indian Resident & Rs 100 for Foreigners. As of December 2012. After climbing up, once you look down from Light House, will give u a thrilling experience. Do take your kids here, because they will surely learn how a Light House Actually works!
