The beautiful scenery which can be seen has Fetched me NCERT National Photography Contest For Children 2008, top 100 entry overall & top 50 entry in nature category..Thats why started from here!

This scene can be seen at a small & beautiful hill station known as Ranikhet, in Uttrakhand(formerly Uttranchal)  & at a wintery day there it is common to see, magnificent Himalaya so clearly, such that if you having a high zoom telescope, you can see the huge rocks there. 


In the picture, you are seeing world's 5th highest mountain peak, i.e., Nandadevi and various other peaks such as Neelkanth, Kamet, Trishul, Dronagiri etc.....
